Lost cat finds owner through Facebook!
The Sydney Morning Herald in Australia reports that Jacob, a cat who had been reported missing since August 13, 2005, was able to find his owner thanks to Facebook! An RSPCA inspector found Jacob and was able to retrieve his owner’s name off of his microchip, but her contact information was outdated. However, she had a profile on Facebook, and she received the very happy news that her dear Jacob was found almost three years later! What a great story!
